The Women's Empire ACC shoe offers a classic laced closure with seven points of fit adjustment and complements the breathable Evofiber synthetic upper for superb fit and comfort.
The Easton® EC90 ACC full carbon sole offers the stiffness needed for everything from Grand Tours to gran fondos, with ultra-low 6.5mm stack height for a direct connection to the pedals. And the adjustable SuperNatural Fit footbed lets you fine-tune the fit and arch support for an unmatched blend of performance and style.

EASTON® CARBON COMPOSITE OUTSOLE
We worked closely with the engineering staff at Easton® to develop proprietary outsoles that provide the most direct, powerful connection to the pedals without compromising comfort. Using advanced modeling and proprietary fixturing in our test lab, every outsole is engineered to provide ideal stiffness in three zones—Toe, Arch, and Heel—while maintaining the lowest weight and stack height (as low as 6.5mm).
EVOFIBER™
Evofiber takes the best attributes of mesh and microfiber, and fuses them into a single fabric that repels water and improves breathability throughout the shoe. By eliminating the extra seams and adhesives required to insert mesh panels, the durability, comfort, and weight of our shoes all can be dramatically improved. Evofiber also holds shape exceptionally well, and is fast-drying and easy to clean.
SuperNatural Fit System
The Giro SuperNatural Fit System includes an adjustable arch support kit with Low, Medium, and High arch supports. You can adjust arch support to enhance fit and pedaling efficiency while reducing the chances of common discomforts like hotspots, numbness, and cramping.
X-STATIC® FIBERS
X-Static® fibers are made with layers of pure silver that are permanently bonded to the surface of the fabric. Silver offers natural anti-microbial performance that helps to reduce odor and regulate heat, so your feet stay fresh and comfortable, naturally.
LACED CLOSURE
In addition to infinite adjustability and the ability to conform to each zone of the foot, laces offer easy replacement and customization, a more natural feel across the foot and reliability in even the most adverse conditions. Our tubular woven laces are designed to be highly durable, light and to hold a knot securely without slipping.

Love the shoe but the heel pads disintegrate and can't buy replacements!
The shoes are comfortable. They are still a slim fit so had to go a size larger but could still use a little more room. The laces make it easier to control fit and because they are so soft they stretch with your foot. Unfortunately, after only wearing them 3 times the heel pads disintegrated and now I'm finding they cannot be replaced! No one has the smaller sizes in stock. The ones I did find cost almost as much as the shoe which is ridiculous.
